StoneForge Paving & Masonry designs and builds patios, walkways and pool surrounds in concrete pavers, porcelain, bluestone and poured concrete. Every surface is built on a compacted base and pitched so water drains away from your house, giving you a level, comfortable space to use for years.
A patio is only useful if it fits the way you live. Before choosing a material we talk through how the space will be used, whether that is dining, a fire pit area, lounging by the pool or simply a clean path to the back door, and how much sun, shade and slope the site has. Those answers shape the size, layout, steps and drainage as much as the surface itself.
Each material has its own strengths. Interlocking pavers are flexible and easy to repair, natural bluestone has a classic New England look, porcelain is dense, modern and low maintenance, and poured concrete offers a clean surface in broom, stamped or exposed-aggregate finishes. Walkways and steps can use the same material or a complementary one so the front of the house and the backyard read as one design. Explore paver patios, bluestone, porcelain pavers, pool patios and decks and paver walkways.

Big enough for the furniture plus room to move. As a rough guide, allow about three feet beyond the edge of a dining table so chairs can be pulled out, and more clearance around a fire pit. We review the layout with you before we build so you can picture the size on your property.
Yes. Sloped lots usually call for excavation, a levelled base and sometimes retaining walls or steps to create a flat usable area, with drainage planned so water does not collect against the house.
Sweep and rinse regularly, pull weeds early and top up joint sand on pavers every few years. Use gentler de-icing products than rock salt where we recommend them. Ask us about sealing options for the material you choose.
